The request:

Dear Jean and Fatima,

With heartfelt appreciation I present this impact report on the successful implementation of three new water projects (one Water purification system and two borewells) in India during 2024-2025 fiscal year. These life changing projects were made possible thanks to the generosity of Marcel and Luce Baril.
On behalf of the entire SOPAR-Bala Vikasa team in Canada and in India, I extend our sincere gratitude for your dedication and ongoing partnership. We also send our best wishes for good health to you and all members and donors of the Foundation Coup de Coeur.
Our joint water projects are transforming lives by providing access to clean water and sanitation in three deserving villages: Chityala, Ram Reddy Pally, and Kaverammapeta. All three projects (one water purification system and two borewells) are now inaugurated and fully operational. Please find attached a summary report and project photos.
Testimony: Chityala Water purification plant, India.
Avinash and his friend, youth members from Chityala village, shared their joy about the newly installed community water purification system: "For many years, we struggled with access to clean water and had to rely on expensive private suppliers of purified water. When prices increased, we could no longer afford it. After learning about a Bala Vikasa water plant in a neighbouring village, we held a community meeting and decided to request one for Chityala. The organization team visited our village for a feasibility study, and fortunately, our application was approved. We formed a water committee, went door to door to encourage memberships, and collected local contributions. Thanks to the support of SOPAR-Bala Vikasa, Jana Vikasa, and generous donors in Canada, we have 24/7 access to clean, affordable water through the ATW (Any Time Water) system using pre-paid cards. The water is pure, tasty, and a great relief for our community." The local water committee is actively managing the water plant, ensuring lasting benefits and a brighter future for all.
On behalf of our Founders, Board members, and the entire SOPAR - Bala Vikasa team along with our project villages, I thank you very much. Your contributions have brought more than water; it has brought dignity, opportunity, and lasting change in many lives. We look forward to implementing many more meaningful projects in partnership with you.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or need further information.

With heartfelt thanks,
