Hello Jean and Fatima
The need for drinking water being a real social problem in Cameroon, we are once again asking for a well in order to satisfy our brothers and sisters in the large community of Pont du Noun.
Indeed, the locality of Pont du Noun is located 14 km from the Catholic mission of Kouoptamo. It is a border area to the south with the Bamboutos department and to the north with the North-West region. It is cosmopolitan because it is made up of Bamouns, Bamilékés and largely English speakers who migrated there because of the English-speaking crisis.
This population is estimated at more than 2000 inhabitants. Access to drinking water remains a real ordeal, because the only source of this water remains the water pipe installed since the time of the first missionaries before independence in the 1960s, and is 800 m from the chapel. just like the private health center. On the site of the Catholic mission chapel there is a primary school and a bilingual secondary school nearby. The acquisition of a drinking water well will be considered manna from heaven.
In submitting this request to you, we remain optimistic as in the past that you will respond favorably and we assure you of our prayers while cordially greeting you.
