The request:
Hello Fatima and Jean,
Another time in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Castlegar we are undertaking a new water supply project in Peru.
The Wings of Hope will still be a service provider for this project. We really like working with them, because they involve the population in a significant way in the implementation of projects (in terms of volunteer labor and free materials).
The project involves the drilling of a well on land in the community of San Felepito and the installation of a solar pump that will supply the tank placed on an elevated place in the community. Also, the project involves the installation of a piping network that will redistribute water by gravity to the beneficiaries.
This project, with a total cost of $204,000, will provide drinking water to more than 500 beneficiaries.
We are very grateful for your important financial support in the past, as well as for your excellent advisory service.
We come again today to ask you to support us in this next project.
Awaiting your reply,
Thank you for your usual cooperation,
David Leffelaar
