In the rural commune of Anjepy (Ampetsapetsa, Miarina, Mandritsara, Antananarivo kely and Antsetsindrano), restauration and deepen of 5 wells.
The project with a total cost of $ 51,864.00 will again allow access to drinking water to more than 2,000 beneficiaries.
The request:
Dear Jean and Fatima,
In 2014, the Rotary Club Antananarivo - Mahamasina has benefited a Grant from the ROTARY Foundation which consisted of building 5 Wells in Anjepy in order to provide drinking water.
To recall the history, these wells are equipped with submerged pumps of Indian brand which are made of two parts, an aerial part which is easy to repair and a part submerged in water which is protected by a concrete slab covering the well.
However, it turns out that after several years of use, the submerged part was no longer working and instead of repairing the out of service parts, it was decided to completely transform the wells.
The 5 wells to be restored will have sustainable access to a potable water supply system.
Thank you for your kind support.
