In the metropolitan area of ​​Kumasi, Ghana, drilling of 15 wells and construction of 2 water distribution systems for 2 villages. Also, allocation of microcredits which will be used to drill 15 other wells (including 5 with mechanical pumps) as well as the construction of 150 MicroFlush-type toilets.

This project, at a total cost of $193,300, will bring drinking water to more than 42,000 beneficiaries.

Dear Fatima and dear Jean,

I hope you are well.

First of all, I would like to thank you for the exceptional financial support you provided for our last joint water abd sanitation project in Ghana, bearing the Global Grant number (GG-2229944). I really don't see how this important project could have been done without your considerable involvement at all stages.

As the implementation of this last project is going wonderfully, many surrounding villages also feel capable of undertaking such an adventure and come to us with very ambitious requests.

I have just read one of these requests sent to Mrs. Nana Mensah of the Rotary Club of Kumasi who would be the Host Club and she impressed me so much that I decided to get involved once again. So I come knocking on your door again to seek your financial partnership.

This would be a CAD $193,300.00 project that would provide drinking water and sanitation to more than 42,000 beneficiaries. (A complete description of the project is attached.)

Knowing well your desire to help these voiceless people as much as possible, the spectacular impact that this project will have makes me already anticipate a positive response from you.

Regarding the International Rotary Club that will be involved in this project, I have spoken to Marc Mauger, President of E-Club Premier District 7040, and he would again be willing to take on the important task of being the international lead for this project.

I know it's a lot to ask of you, but I allow myself this gesture, because I know well your impressive ability to raise funds.
