In the two villages of Chelukalappali and Thatikonda in India, installation of two water purification systems and construction of the two buildings that house them.
These two projects, costing a total of $ 28,200.00, will provide clean water to more than 3,575 beneficiaries.


The request:

Dear Mr. Gagnon and dear Fatima,

The Coup de Cœur Foundation has been an important partner of SOPAR for several years. Together we have succeeded in providing easy and affordable access to water to tens of thousands of poor women, men and children in South India, and we continue to do so! I am happy to send you today the report of two of your projects, projects which have emerged thanks to the support of Mr. Marcel Baril. These two projects have helped 3,575 people !!
Pavan, the young boy you see in one of the photos, is one of the beneficiaries of these projects. Easy and affordable access to purified water will change everything for him: he will be more likely to be healthier and have better hygiene. His school attendance will be increased as will the ability of his parents to increase their income.
Access to water is the starting point for better living conditions! “I dream of becoming a nurse. For that, I will have to be in good health. I think I will be less sick than before now that we can drink the purified water. It will be good for me and for my family ”.
Pavan, like other children on our planet, deserves access to water, a basic human right.
