In the villages of Donkal and of Pothareddyppeta, in India, installation of two water filtration systems and the buildings housing them. Also, in the village of Bavurugonda, also in India, drilling of a well. The project, of a total cost of $29 100, will bring drinking water to more than 3,425 beneficiaries.

Good day Mr. Gagnon and Ms. Lahmami,

It is with joy that I write to you today to inform you that three new water access projects have been completed in the rural villages of India where we work. These projects were made possible thanks to the financial support and the gesture of solidarity of one of your generous donors, Mr. Pierre Alexandre.
Thanks to Mr. Alexandre, two water purification systems and a manual pump now serve 3 425 people in 3 villages. These people once had to walk long distances to collect a very small amount of water. Many of them suffered from illnesses related to drinking contaminated water.
The woman you see in the photo is one of the beneficiaries of your Foundation's projects. Every day, she had to walk 5 kilometers to fill her water buckets. Helped by her daughter, they brought home just enough water for drinking and cooking. This task took time; it made the mother unable to find a job and significantly reduced her daughter's school hours.
Mr. Alexandre's projects have transformed their lives! With better health and hygiene, with more time to take care of their family and work, and with more education, this family has better chances of getting out of poverty, improving their living conditions and participating to the development of their village.
As you can see, our water access projects are a response to a vital need! They allow people without means to realize that they have the potential to transform their lives.
These projects would not be possible without the support of generous donors like Mr. Alexandre and the Coup de Coeur Foundation. On behalf of all the people helped by these projects, I thank you a thousand times.
