Dear Jean and Fatima
Today we have received information related to the three projects totaling $ 29,100.00 in the villages of Devampalli, Malyala and Pothanpalli funded with the support of Mr. Réjean Gagné.
Thanks to Mr. Gagné's generosity and solidarity, more than 4,660 people now have easy and affordable access to water.
The initiators of these types of projects are often women who are part of our women's development program. With our awareness activities, they realize that it is important for their health to drink clean water. They also realize the importance of hygiene to improve their quality of life and thus, become independent.
The women you see in the photo are the ones who asked SOPAR to install a purification system in the village of Pothampalli. On the day of the inauguration of the project, they were proud to welcome the villagers and explain that they want to improve the faite of their families and their village.
On behalf of all beneficiaries and on behalf of SOPAR, we thank Mr. Gagné and Fondation Coup de Coeur for their significant financial contribution to these important projects.
