I hope you are well,
This year 2019, we succeeded in carrying out a drilling at Dungu with the help of Secours Missions to provide the population with quality drinking water.
We also installed a very good immersion pump. Currently, we are lacking a 20,000 liter tank to provide water to more than 5,000 people in the village of Dungu. I inquired and the tank would cost $ 20,000.00.
Could Fondation Coup de Coeur, which has always helped us in our projects, once again support us for the latter?
Project presentation:
Offering drinking water is more necessary than ever at Dungu because the population is exposed to waterborne diseases. Since January 2018, the Brothers of the Christian Instruction of the Community of Dungu have initiated an activity called Eau Pure Lamennais which consists in filtering water from the well to allow this water to be offered to households. This year we drilled on Nanzawa Road, a village on the outskirts of the city of Dungu, but we are facing the lack of a reservoir for the storage of drinking water.
Objective of the project
Reduce water-borne diseases among the population of Dungu and facilitate access to drinking water for women and children.
