In a bush village in the commune of Grand – Popo, installation of a public drinking fountain.
The project, with a total cost of $ 4,110.00 will provide drinking water to 1,500 people.


The request:

Hello Mrs. Fatima and Mr. Gagnon,

We come to ask you, on behalf of the Canadian charity Bénin Enfants Sains, for financial assistance of $ 300 for the installation of a public drinking water fountain that will transform the lives of 1,500 people.
We submit this request taking into account the excellent results of the installations carried out this fall by SONEB (Beninese national water company) and a team working in collaboration with the CA of Adjaha (arrondissement of Grand Popo).

Drinking water will be supplied by connecting the bush village to the water tower in the town of Comé via the bush.

I will be in Benin in January-February-June-July 2020 to follow up with the Beninese coordinator who is permanently on site. We will be able to inaugurate the fountains in August 2020.

The installation of a public fountain will radically transform the lives of 1,500 people who currently live without potable water. This water will help reduce water-related illnesses.
The charity will ensure the continuity of the project through fundraising, donations from Canada and Benin.
The NGO Bénin Enfants Sains undertakes to provide photos during different stages of the work; also photos during the great event that will be the inauguration of the fountain. An annual report will also allow you to see the improvement in the health of
children and the local population.
