In the village of Nuevo Huaralica, 4.5 hours drive north of Lima in Peru, construction of a network of 3 km water pipes, installation of a solar water pump, a reservoir on the hill and a water chlorination system.
Also included in the project, training in hygiene and cleanliness related to the use of clean water.
This project, with a total cost of $ 133,400, will bring purified water to more than 400 beneficiaries.

Dear Bill,

First of all, I would like to congratulate you greatly on all the projects that you have successfully completed in Peru in the field of water and education for many years. Knowing your facility to implement humanitarian projects, allow me today to come and suggest another very interesting project in Peru.
I received a request from Me Sophia Principe from the Rotary Club of Barranca in Peru that I have known for a few years and that I can refer you with confidence. This request concerns the community of Nuevo Huaralica which is located in the district of Supe, in the province of Barranca, 4.5 hours drive north of Lima.
As usual, a village committee will be formed for the implementation and monitoring of the project, and villagers will also be trained to maintain the facilities, thus ensuring the sustainability of the project.
With you as project leader, our Montreal Rotary Club would be willing to take a significant financial stake in this project.
