This project, with a total cost of $ 9,000.00, will provide computer and school training to more than 200 students.

Dear Mr. Zalzal, following my presentation at the Rotary Club of Montreal, here is what it's about:
The project proposed to the Rotary Club of Montreal by PACHE (Partners of the Association of Upper Egypt) is to undertake the expansion and development of the computer room and the purchase and installation of computers for the primary school of Nag el Seyagh, located in a small village near the city of Luxor in Egypt. The estimated cost of this project is $ 9,000.00.
The Association of Upper Egypt for Education and Development, AUEED, is one of the oldest and largest Egyptian NGOs. Its mission is to empower local communities targeting the poor through education and development programs focused on women, youth and children. In doing so, it runs schools, clinics, development projects and a microcredit program based mainly in Upper Egypt.
Fundraising organizations have been set up outside Egypt for the sole purpose of raising funds for the AUEED. PACHE is one of them, an association based in Montreal, registered in Canada 50 years ago. All funds that PACHE sends to the AUEED are subject to detailed contracts that describe how the funds will be used and  provide a monitoring system to ensure that these funds are actually used as intended. The gift of Rotary would be treated according to the requirements described above.
PACHE would be sincerely grateful if the current funding proposal was adopted by the Montreal Rotary Club and hopes that such an initiative could herald a future cooperation.
