Attention of Mr. Jean Gagnon, Fondation Coup de cœur
Hello Jean,
Recently, an alarming call came from the people of Itaosy, a densely populated area south of the capital of Madagascar - Antananarivo. I am asking you to help build a well in this environment where, currently, the flow of drinking water at the tap is rare.
A second well is needed in Brickaville District on the East Coast of the Big Island. The Spiritan Congregation of Canada has agreed to be a partner in this project and I will be responsible for doing this good deed.
Once the wells are operational, monitoring of use, maintenance and daily water management will be entrusted to a standing committee of the Roborobo Center, which already manages wells previously completed. Inside the management committee will be engaged local technicians who will be responsible for the maintenance of wells: troubleshooting when there will be a solar pump, organization of hygiene towers and sanitation around the well.
In the hope that you will respond positively to this request, on behalf of the beneficiaries, I remain at your disposal to provide you with additional information that you deem useful.
I beg you to believe, Sir, in expressing my sincere greetings.
