The project:
Visual screening offered to more than 462 students of the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade levels at Saint-Paul Elementary School, Laval.
The request:
From: Catalina Lopez, École Saint-Paul, Laval.
To: Fondation Coup de Coeur
Good morning Mr. Gagnon and Mrs. Lahmami,
The Laval school board has several elementary schools in disadvantaged areas, such as Saint-Paul Elementary School located in Laval's Chomeday sector. For the current school year, we expect nearly 1200 students from kindergarten to grade 6, but also classes of welcoming class, dysphasia and support for learning.
Since our service area is large, most students in our school use the bus. In short, our school is home to around 60 groups of students from many cultural communities. It goes without saying that your Foundation's help with visual screenings would be beneficial support for our learners. In truth, many of them do not benefit from an annual visual examination. There is no doubt that this precious help would contribute to the academic success of many of our students and their quality of life.
All the staff of the school, the speakers working with our young people, the parents and all our students thank you in advance for your interest in our request. Be assured of our full collaboration and our great gratitude.
We look forward to hearing from you with great enthusiasm. Please accept, Mr. Gagnon and Mrs. Lahmami, the expression of my best feelings.
