In the village of Independence Aquifer in Mexico, construction of 319 rainwater harvesting systems each including a cement tank with a capacity of 20,000 liters for each household.
The project, with a total cost of $ 337,000.00, will provide drinking water to more than 2,500 beneficiaries.

The request:

Dear Jean and Fatima,

I hope you are doing well.
First of all, we would like to thank you warmly for your financial participation in our latest rainwater harvesting project in the village of San Miguel, Mexico.
Also, it has been a great pleasure for my Rotary Club of San Miguel de Allende-Midday and our Rotary District to contribute financially to your very important water and sanitation project in Ghana.
Our present request  is to solicit your generosity for a new water harvesting project, this time in the village of Independence Aquifer in Mexico. This new project will consist of the construction of 319 water catchment tanks with as many storage tanks with a capacity of 20,000 liters each, which will be added to the 1,102 systems already built by us to date in this region.
The main reason for this project is the high arsenic and fluorine contamination of the groundwater in this village that make the water unfit for consumption.
The total cost of the project is $ 337,000.00 and the workforce will be provided free of charge by the 2,500 beneficiaries who will unite in groups of 6 owners for the construction of a complete capture system for each of the 319 houses. Each of the owners will see the maintenance, very little demanding, of its own system.
