This year, I will make two more Global Grants, still in the field of water, in Guatemala. The first one, which I am going to talk to you about, will be in Pamezul, 16 miles from Tecpan County Headquarters. People work mainly in agriculture, some on their own land, and many on leased land. Some work as day laborers on farms, receiving $ 55 a month for their entire family.
Also, the service provider will still be Aldea, who have always had a great transparency and an infallible diligence. The total cost of the project will be $ 78,000.00 and I would like to take care of half of this amount myself and on your side let you the other half.
You already told me that the Rotary Club of Drummondville, as well as their District #7850, could be interested in taking a significant stake in a water project; are they still interested? You will find attached a complete description of the project; since we have been working together for five years now, I know that I do not have to explain to you how the project will be carried out.
