The project:


In the villages of Ramannagudem, Damnakkapally and Chandra, in India, installation of three water purification systems as well as the building to protect them. In the villages of Jayagiri and Ellanda, also in India, drilling of two wells surmounted by hand pumps of  India #2 brand.
The total cost of these 5 projects, which will serve 6 179 beneficiaries, is $ 44,100.00.

Dear Jean and Fatima,

I hope this letter finds you in good shape in these beautiful summer days.
I am writing to you again this time to present you five new projects in India, in the villages of Ramannagudem, Damnakkapally, Chandra, Jayagiri and Ellanda.
In the first three villages, it is the installation of 3 water purification systems, and in the last two, the drilling of wells. In total, these five projects will support more than 6 179 beneficiaries for a cumulative cost of $ 44,100.00.
Here is the testimony of Bhavani, 17, and her daughter:
The nearest well to the village of Bhavani is 3 kilometers away. She must go there at least three times a day to get enough water for her family and her parents-in-law. That equates to 18 kilometers of walking. She would save, she says, about six hours a day, with a well drilled at the corner of her street; time she would use to take care of her daughter.
Also, she wants to find a job. She says: '' My daughter should not spend her days fetching water. She should go to school.''
