The project:
Visual screening offered to more than 450 students at Saint-Grégoire-le-Grand Elementary School, Montréal.
The request:
Mr. Jean Gagnon,
President of Fondation Coup de Coeur
I have received information that your Foundation has set up an eye screening program. I have read this one and congratulate you on this excellent initiative.
The Saint-Grégoire-le-Grand primarty school team would like to benefit from your screening program.
École Saint-Grégoire-le-Grand is a school of the Montreal School Board with more than 450 students enrolled in kindergarten from grade 4 to grade 6. It is located in the neighborhood Villeray East, a highly disadvantaged environment. Saint-Grégoire-le-Grand is one of the most disadvantaged schools on the Island of Montreal.
It goes without saying that your Foundation's support for visual screenings would be a beneficial support for our students. Many of them do not have an annual visual examination.
There is no doubt that this precious help would contribute to the academic success of many of our students.
Be assured of our full cooperation and gratitude, hoping that you will be able to comply with our request.
Please accept, dear Mr. Gagnon, the expression of my best feelings.
