The project:
Visual screening test offered to 430 students at the Fraternity Elementary School, Montreal North.
The request:
Montreal North, April 27, 2018
Subject: Request for support to Fondation Coup de Cœur
Madam Fatima Lahmami,
Mr. Jean Gagnon,
Located in Montreal-North, De la Fraternité School is an establishment of the Pointe-de-l'Île school board. The student population consists of approximately 430 students, from preschool 4 years old to the end of the third cycle of primary school, of diverse ethnic origins and mostly from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The success of our students being at the heart of our actions, we believe that the contribution and the collaboration of all the actors, team-school, parents and community partners are essential. Thus, we call on your Foundation, under the direction of Dr. Claude Chagnon, volunteer optometrist, to offer all of our students a visual screening. Thanks to this opportunity and considering the importance of good visual health, students will benefit from your expertise and parents will be reassured about the relevance of thoroughly investigating for the well-being of their child's eyes.
We hope you can respond positively to our request.
Welcome, Sir, Madam our most sincere greetings!
