The 4 projects will have a total cost of $ 30,000 and will serve 3 865 beneficiaries.

Dear Mr. Gagnon and Mrs. Lahmami,

Once again, I want to thank you for your outstanding contribution to our water projects in India.

Today, we received information related to four new water access projects funded by Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Baril. These 4 projects had a total cost of $ 30,000 and will improve the quality of life for 3,865 people. Laxmi, whom you can see in the photo attached, is 14 years old, she is one of the many people who has been touched by these projects, she lives in the small village of Eddulapalli in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is said that she is a brilliant and hardworking girl. She loves going to school and dreams of becoming a teacher later. She is the one who helps her mother with all the housework. One of the big tasks in her village is the collection of water, not to mention that this water is mainly contaminated by fluoride.Until now, she was going to draw water from a well that is 2 kilometers from the village and to reach the school on time, Laxmi had to get up at 4 o'clock in the morning. There were days when the queue at the well was very long and on those days she arrived 1 or 2 hours late at school. Thanks to the donation of Mr. and Mrs. Baril, Laxmi now has easy access to drinking water. She continues to get up early but takes this time to study! Laxmi is confident, more than ever, that her dream will come true.
