Hello Dear Jean and Dear Fatima.

I hope you are well.

First of all, thank you again for your important financial support and for your thoughtful advice for so many years.
We come this time to ask for your financial help for the reconstruction of the small elementary school of Apricots which was completely destroyed during the Hurricane Mathieu occurred a few months ago.
Note that this school was the first I built with my husband Patrick in 1976 and that the new school we are about to build will be much more adapted to current needs. The total cost of construction will be $ 24,000, of which $ 20,000 will be provided by the Velan Award we have been granted with recently.
So, we are asking  for a $ 4,000 grant in order to complete the financing of this construction and we would like to bring your attention to the fact that in addition to bringing education to 135 students, this school will also provide a hot meal for every one of its 135 students on a daily basis.
Knowing that this meal will often be the only meal of the day for many of these children, it is easy to understand the importance of this project.
