Attention Mrs. Janice Aubry
Hello Mrs. Aubry,
My name is L. Gangadhar and I am the chairman of the Ruyyadi Village Development Committee.
Our biggest problem here in Ruyyadi is water. The water we drink contains too much fluoride and makes us sick. I am 32 years old and many people of my age have severe pain in the joints and knees and children have many intestinal problems due to excess fluoride in the water. I would like to buy purified water for myself and my family, but I do not have the money for that. A bottle costs almost half the salary that I am doing in a day. So, I tell my children to drink, but in small quantities. My youngest daughter is often sick, we have to be careful with her.
Some of the villages where SOPAR works have had the chance to install a water purification system. It is said that people can go get some purified water at any time of day for a small cost.
We Ruyyadi people, we would like to apply for a water purification system in our village. I know that SOPAR will ask that people actively participate for that the project works. I am ready to get involved and become a member of the project committee. I want a better life for my children and I want to show them that we can change things even if we are poor. We will work hard and bring change to Ruyyadi.
I hope that our request will be accepted.
Salutations.

Mr. St-James and Mrs Potvin,
In the name of L. Gangadhar and all the 3 800 beneficiaries of the four villages to which you gave access to drinking water, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your important gesture.
These four villages now have access to clean water and needless to say the change you made to their quality of life.
This drinking water will provide the beneficiaries with health, which then gives access to education and work and allows everyone to become self-sufficient.
Thank you for your solidarity and your generosity.
