Dear Fatima and Jean,

First of all, we would like to thank you and your Foundation very much for your important contribution to our organization, SOPAR. Together, we ensure that, everyone regardless of their socio-economic status, have access to safe drinking water - a basic human right. Thank you sincerely.
Following your request to undertake  a major filtration and water supply project for Pierre Alexandre family in India for the fourth time in a row, we present the following:

Request from the village of Bapananthapuram (number of beneficiaries: 2 250)

"My name is Arundati and I am a leader of my village. The water in our village contains too much fluoride and because of this several suffer from bone fluorosis, a serious illness.
Leaders from a neighboring village informed us that SOPAR is installing systems that purify water. Our village is ready and would like to register for this program and actively participate in a similar project to improve its living conditions."

Request from the village of Varadarajupalli (number of beneficiaries: 1,025)

"My name is Laxman and I am a teacher in the village of Varadarajupalli. Aware of the negative impacts of a too high concentration of fluoride in water, I am writing to ask for your support. The vast majority of people in the village are too poor to buy purified water and drink, in spite of themselves, water that makes them sick. The rate of absenteeism at our School is very high largely due to diseases related to the consumption of nonpotable water containing too much fluoride. Can we count on you to help us? "

Request from the village of Valaparla (number of beneficiaries: 200)

"My name is Anjaneyulu and I am an elder of the village. Since I was very young, we did not have easy access to the water. Women and children spend a lot of time walking every day to get water. We would like to ask for your support for the construction of a well. That would help us a lot."

As usual, our sister NGO in India, Bala Vikasa, will be the sevice provider for these projects and will set up a management and maintenance group in each village to ensure the proper functioning of the facilities and the monitoring of operations, thus ensuring the sustainability of the three projects.

Waiting for your reply for these three projects of capital importance.
We remain your committed partners.
