Hello Jean and Fatima,
I hope you are doing well.
Following my meeting with you and Jay Cook from Water Mission at Lionel Emond's house in Estrie last summer, our Rotary Club in Naple North, Florida decided to start a drinking water supply and filtration project in Tanzania. The project consists of collecting a water source, installing 5 km of PVC pipes, constructing 2 tanks of 5,000 liters each, topped by multiple solar panels supplying 2 submersible pumps and installing a water filtration system in 6 villages, 3 schools and 2 churches in Karagwe district, Kagera region of Tanzania. The total cost is $119,814.00 US and will provide drinking water to more than 3,600 people. The complete description of this project is attached.
As you mentioned to me that your Rotary Club of Montreal and your Fondation Coup de Coeur might be interested in this project, I come by this email to call for your financial support to complete our budget for this project of $119,814.00 US. I know that both of your organizations are very demanding on the issues of governance and sustainability of the projects in which they are investing, but since this project is a Rotary project, I do not see the need to explain these two points in more detail.
I hope that you will become partners in this important and vital project that will provide drinking water to over 3,600 people who currently do not have access to drinking water.
