The project:

In Guatemala, in the 2 villages of Patzaj and San Lucas, construction of a gravity water system, 146 latrines and installation of 146 vented stoves.
In the other 2 villages of Panatzan and La Trompeta, two water systems were completed by digging trenches and adding PVC pipes.
The project will cost $ 163,000.00 and will provide services to a total of 3 155 beneficiaries.

Hello Jean and Fatima,

Elin and I were very happy to meet you again at the Rotary Club of Hollywood in Florida last week. As you saw during my presentation at this meeting, my project last year was a real success and your important contribution to this project was highly appreciated.
Thank you also for allowing me to present my next water, latrines and stoves project in four new villages in Guatemala to your Rotary Club of Montreal.
Please note that your significant participation in this new project will allow us to undertake a larger project.
This new project will have a total budget of $ 194,000.00, minus the labor participation of the beneficiaries which will leave us a share of $ 163,000.00 to cover. Attached is the full proposal for this new project.
The ALDEA NGO, which delivered the goods impeccably during the last project, will again be our Service Provider.
The dream of this NGO is that all beneficiaries, through the provision of drinking water, latrines and vented stoves, have access to health, education and therefore become self-sufficient.
The maintenance and the durability of the installations will be ensured by the application respecting the very strict standards of The Rotary Foundation.
