The Project:

In the Region of Kara in Togo, drilling of 4 wells in the following villages: Bouloda, Kpeyo-WOVO, Tchandida, Kadjada.
The Project shall incur a total cost of $ 56,444.00 US  and provide water to a population of 2,500 inhabitants.

The Request:

Dear Jean and Fatima,

Hope you are doing well. I have just received a request made by Ignacio Moral Burgos, from the Burgos Rotary Club of Spain.
He is asking for our financial assistance for a water project they are undertaking in the Kara Region in Togo. Kara Rotary Club is the hosting club in Togo, with Mr. Komlan Lokadi as the key contact.
The financing of this project shall be under a Global Grant awarded by the International Rotary Foundation; which in turn provides it with a very substantial financial leverage. As you know, our Quebec City Rotary Club’s contribution to this project shall amount to $1,500.00 US and since you had already supported us on similar projects in Togo, I was wondering whether your Foundation would be interested in contributing to this new project.
