In the village of Tujtzlom Guatemala, repair of a water line from the source and leading to the village on a distance of 7 km in order to supply safe drinking water to the village of 250 people.

Dear Fatima & Jean,

It was indeed a pleasure to speak with you on Saturday - congratulations for all that Fondation Coup de Coeur has accomplished thus far!
I have attached the project that we spoke about where we require $ 5,000.00 in funding. I will send you the updated budget tomorrow when I get more information from our field staff in Guatemala and this will give you an idea of what we hope to accomplish by the end of April.
I am also sending you a few photos of one of the families who will benefit from the project. We visited them a few weeks ago. This mother walks over 3 hours every day to hand carry water back to her home for her family.
As we discussed, I am also seeking information on the larger water program in Comitancillo. I spoke with our Country Director by SKYPE today and he is thrilled that we have found funders who are interested in assisting these very poor families with water. He has already contacted the San Marcos Rotary Cub and they are interested in being the Host Cub.
I will write again shortly with additional information.
