The purchase of drugs and orthopedic devices for a Podiatrist without borders humanitarian mission to Peru and Vietnam.

Dear Fatima and Jean,

First of all we would like to thank you for supporting our humanitarian activities in 2015 with your $ 2000 contribution. Thanks to your donation we were able to buy medication and material for our mission to Vietnam in December 2015 and January 2016. Other than archsupports and orthopedic and medical devices (sterile compresses, bandages, razors, syringes, needles, etc.), we were able to obtain cortisone injection vials (Celestone 6mg/ ml), anesthetics (Xylocaine 2% without epinephrine), antibiotic cream tubes (fucidin 2%), and pill bottles (Célébrex 200 mg, Naproxen 500 mg, Advil 400 mg, Acétaminophènes 500 mg, Pantoloc 40 mg). 
We seek your support and generosity this year and for years to come in order to continue carrying out our humanitarian activities. We have already confirmed two missions to Vietnam for the year 2016. A team of podiatrists and Ph.D. medical students of the University of Quebec in Trois-Riviere will carry out our mission from August 14 to September 4th. Our podiatrist, Dr Nguyen, will be there from December 2015 to January 2016. We have sought the participation of physiotherapists and general practitioners in order to treat more sick individuals. We are actually expecting the confirmation from our physiotherapist colleague for our mission in August. In order to ensure continuity, other than our two missions to Vietnam we are expecting a confirmation from our health center in Lima, Peru. Once we get the director’s approval, we will deploy another team during the months of June and May.
We need financial resources to purchase medicine and medical equipment for the year 2016.
With this in mind, a $2000 donation from your organization would be greatly appreciated.
All our donations are exclusively spent on medical equipment and medicine as well as on tools which will be used during the mission. All of our volunteers work free of charge and are responsible for all travel expenses (transportation, shelter, food).
