The request:
July 14, 2015
Dear Jean and Fatima,
Once again, I appeal for your help to raise the financing for a water purification and latrines installation project. This time, it is for a village of 600 inhabitants located in Chaquira Peru.
Water is already available in the village but it is contaminated with sediment, bacteria and viruses.
The installation of a solar filter system (LWTS: Living Water Treatment System) manufactured by Water Missions International will solve these problems.
The community and the municipality are committed to providing the workforce trained to maintain the system in good condition and to provide the products needed for complete water purification.
A nominal fee will be charged to users that are able to pay and this money will be used to maintain the facilities and ensure the sustainability of the project.
You will find attached the detailed project description.
We hope you will again accept to help us for this project.
We take this opportunity to thank you for your unfailing support for all of our projects of water supply and filtration.
