Dear Jean and Fatima,

As a follow-up to your visit to Charleston last week, I am presenting you, as we agreed, the Sesesmil water project in Honduras.
This project will provide water to over 1,000 people and will cost $ 65,500.00. I hope that you can organize a group of partners to raise the financing required to complete this project.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Until then, keep well.

Thank you again for visiting our Charleston facility, it was a pleasant visit and very appreciated by
our entire team.

Project information:

Sesesmil (Copan Ruinas, Copan - HN) in Honduras has demonstrated an urgent need for the services of Water Missions International. As a result of lack of resources, inadequacy of government to provide infrastructure and unmet basic needs, the community's opportunities for economic and social development are stunted while members of the community constantly suffer from preventable water related illnesses. Sustainable access to Safe water combats these symptoms plaguing Sesesmil and lays a foundation for healthy development.
Having completed a thorough assessment of the community’s needs and resources, Water Missions International has thoughtfully designed a comprehensive and sustainable solution. Approved and awaiting funding, proposed Projects #00.028.97 are the solutions that will last for generations.

Dear Jean and Fatima and US/Canada Rotarians,

This is to share with you that the LWTS™ has been installed and commissioned in Sesesmil as part of the GG1524717 that you all were able to put together and sponsor along with the Copan Rotary Club.  The Healthy Latrines™ have also been started as you see in some of the pictures, and there is an agreement with the community to continue these in ninety days as we will make sure community and beneficiaries are implementing the Sustainability process as agreed upon in the MOU.
I want to express many thanks to all of you on behalf of the community and the more of 1000 people that will benefit with the gift of safe water from now on.   They really appreciate this gift from Rotary and you, and were really excited to have in the community your fellow Rotarians from the Copan Rotary Club representing you in the USA and Canada at the commissioning and dedication ceremony they prepared for the event.
Please let us know if you need additional information from the field and we can coordinate that with Udo, as local Club contact.
