Dear Jean & Fatima,
It was a pleasure meeting you at the Hollywood Rotary Club last week. As discussed, here is the information requested for our Guatemala projet.
The Manchester Rotary Club is again leading the effort to raise money to fund one more sustainable clean water and econostove project in the northern highlands of Guatemala, utilizing a Global Grant from Rotary International.
Last Rotary Year (2013-2014), we successfully completed two similar projects through a Global Grant with the participation of 32 Rotary Clubs and one Interact Club located in three Districts. The project for the current Rotary Year (2014-2015) have been submitted as Global Grant #1524646 to The Rotary Foundation for final review and approval which is anticipated shortly. Attached are updated project summaries and budgets. We are in the process of obtaining checks from clubs that have participated over the eight years of our organizing and collaborating with the Rotary Club of La Antigua and Behrhorst Partners for Development, Guatemala.
In a previous email, you have indicated your organization will contribute to this project and I would appreciate you letting me know what other information your Fondation Coup de Coeur requires in order to receive your financial support for these sustainable clean water and econostove project.
Thank you for your consideration of this Rotary International project.
Best regards,
Rick Lawrence,
