Dear Mr. Gagnon and Madame Langlois,
We have met in the past at Rotary International Service meetings in Cornwall. You were there when I reported on progress of our last clean water project in Bolgatanga, Northeast Ghana. We're preparing the final report to the Rotary Foundation for the project that we have in partnership with the Bolgatanga Goodwill Rotary Club in Ghana.
We are planning the next project in our continuing partnership with the same Rotary Club.
A brief description of the project as it is now taking shape is attached. We request your consideration of a grant through the Rotary Club of Montreal for the project. Your participation of a grant of $ 6,500.00 would pay for 3 dug wells in villages and a drilled well in a more populated community (all with hand-pumps).
I look forward to your reply, hoping that you are interested in participating in this project.
Sincerely,
Ben Coe
Rotary Club of Watertown, N.Y.
Réponse:
Dear Mr. Coe,
Thank you for reaching to Fondation Coup de Coeur.
We have red your Bolgatanga Ghana water project with interest. Could you tell us how many people will benefit from those 9 water wells and 12 latrines?
Could you also provide us with some pictures of some wells you have done in the past ?.
Thank you for your collaboration.
Best regards
Jean and Fatima
