By giving them affordable and easy access to purified water, you are giving them a huge helping hand. Your donation is an investment that enables women and men to take charge and break the circle of poverty. Here is a fine example:
Tara (photo) is one of the beneficiaries of Mr. Camil and Mrs. Annette Rancourt's project. She and her family are part of one of the lowest castes in India. Uneducated and surviving on a daily basis, Tara tries her best to meet her son's primary needs but says it is not easy because he has poor health. She often has to borrow money so that he can be seen by a doctor and buy the medicine he needs. "SOPAR taught me the importance of drinking clean water for better health. But how do you buy bottles of purified water when you don't have a penny? With this project, we will have access to good water at any time of the day. I hope we will all be healthier. This is what I want for my son and for me too! In good health, he will be able to become a strong man and provide for his family later on. As for me, I can take better care of him and work even harder to improve our living conditions. Thank you for helping us, thank you for thinking of us from the other side of the world."
