The request:

Hello Mr. Gagnon and Mrs. Lahmami,

I hope you are well.

Here, at SOPAR, everything is fine. We continue to work hard to ensure that as many people as possible in the villages where we work improve their living conditions. The Coup de Coeur Foundation is a valuable partner of SOPAR in this direction. Your donations allow us to invest in the communities so that the villagers can take charge of their future and we are sincerely grateful to you.
As you know, the region where we work has a very large population, 80 million people. Despite our joint efforts, there are still a significant number of villages that do not yet have an easy access to water and it is for this reason that I am writing to you today.
The village of Padmanabunipalli is in urgent need of a well. A farmer living within an hour's walk has so far given them permission to get water from his well, but the latter recently informed the villagers that this agreement will no longer be possible and this news worried them.
I am writing to you in the hope that one of your donors will come forward to help these people. We would be delighted to be able to tell them the news that a well will soon be built in their village.

Thank you a thousand times for your support and your great sense of sharing.

We will be looking forward to your reply.

Yours,

Shobha Singareddy
