The project:

In the village of Simajulehu, Comalapa Province, Guatemala, replacement of damaged pipelines and domestic connections to the already existing clean water system.
Also, installation of greywater filters and construction of pit latrines (improved version).
This project, with a total cost of $ 133,000, will provide clean water to more than 4 080 residents and will provide 500 people with latrines.

Good day Mrs. Garand, 

I am here to confirm that our Rotary Club of Montreal, our Fondation Coup de Coeur and Fondation Louise Grenier agree to become Consultants and Partners with your Rotary Club of Sherbrooke for the realization of a water and sanitation project  in Simajulehu village in Guatemala. This project will provide drinking water to more than 4,080 beneficiaries, and 85 families will be provided with latrines that meet environmental and government standards.
This project, at a total cost of $ 133,000, will provide these services to the Native Mayans in an effort to prevent ongoing diarrhea and other intestinal diseases affecting the population, primarily children.
This project, covered by The Rotary Foundation Global Grant will be under the leadership of Mr. Rick Lawrence of the Rotary Club of Manchester in Connecticut, USA. Rick will write all the necessary paperwork to complete this project and will also fundraise to collect the missing amount to cover the total cost of the project.
The Service Provider will be ALDEA with whom Rick has completed many projects for more than 10 years.
You will find attached the biography of Rick Lawrence and his roadmap since 2006.
