The project:

In at least 5 villages located in the Independence Aquifer, Mexico, building 314 rainwater recovery systems each including a tank of 12,000 liters and the necessary piping, all to supply water to 2,400 people.

The request:

November 8th 2015

We are presently undertaking a water project in at least 5 villages served by the Independence Aquifer, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, to build 314 water catchment systems (piping and cisterns) which will give water to over 2,400 people. The cisterns will be built and maintained by the families participating in this program. They will be located at each individual home. This project is for $199,432 USD and we are requesting that Fondation Coup de Coeur help us make this project possible. I can provide you a copy of the grant proposal upon your request.
I know that you are committed to many WASH projects and it is an honor to have you as a partner. Your contribution will help us teach villagers the importance of clean water and how to build and maintain their own family cisterns, thereby improving their health and their futures. It will be our pleasure to provide you with updates as we progress on our project.

Thank you for your support for this important work in Mexico.

Warmest regards,
