Hello Mr Gagnon and Mrs Lahmami, 

It was a real pleasure for Danielle and I to meet you yesterday on the Minta walk in Saint-Bruno.
As agreed, we’re writing to you to present our request for funding as already discussed during the walk.  
For 11 years our foundation “La Fondation Danielle et Michel Mathieu” has been responding to the needs of rural communities in developing countries. The foundation improves the quality of life for these people through projects in partnership with local NGOs known within Mali and Togo.  
Water, health and education for women and children are the foundation’s priorities.

For 2015, our project is the construction of a public primary school with three classes able to welcome up to 425 children in the village of Foguégué and surrounding areas of Togo. We already have the $50,000 required to guarantee the construction of this school.  However, to complete the project, we still require a total of $5,000 to pay for the cost of building the school furniture for the children and teachers. 
We are therefore asking for your financial support in order to take on this investment. 
A positive response from yourselves could mark the start of a partnership between our two organisations and who knows what we could achieve together in the future?  
You will find enclosed together both the plans and rough estimates confirming the financial request as well as a reference letter signed by the head of the village of Foguégué affirming his trust in the NGO “Écho de la Jeunesse Togo”, who will be the head of the operation.
