The project:

Artesian drilling with a mounted India number 2 pump and curbstone for the population of the village of Silmissin in Burkina Faso.

The request:

March 3, 2015

From: Michel Allaire

To : Jean and Fatima of the Coup de Coeur Montréal Foundation

I received your message regarding the participation of your Foundation and the Ste-Thérèse Missionary Centre in Montreal to complete two drillings 11 km from here.
I welcome the participation of the Missionary Centre also.
I wrote to the Bishop to inform and encourage him to say YES to this beautiful partnership.
The first drilling will be done in 11 km from here, in the village of SILMISSIN. It will serve two neighborhoods and a primary school of 3 classes which is under construction and will open in September 2015. Thus three happy recipients who will greatly benefit... This afternoon, all the village elders with representatives from the same village who live in the capital will be meeting at 1 p.m. to talk about all this drilling and they will inform everyone. Tonight, they will tell me what was discussed and probably that the decision was unanimous to complete this drilling.
The other upcoming drilling: I will also give you the details as soon as possible. I have to go check the underground water supply (it is already done for Silmissin) and speak with the head of the village, its leaders and population. These meetings are the key to success and continuity of the project.

I'll be back as soon as possible with good news.

Michel Allaire, humanitarian priest to the village of Tang Sega, in Burkina Faso.
